My client needed a logo for her new hair business so she gave me a sketch of her idea and I was tasked with actualizing it.

I started by drawing the assets in Procreate. The letter 'd' is supposed to symbolize a needle and thread and the shears are supposed to appear as though it’s cutting through the letter 'n'. Once the illustrations were done I imported them into Photoshop to work on the overall composition and typography. To achieve the letter 'n' cut up I used the lasso tool and cut a line across the letter, I went on to tilting the top section to emphasize the alteration.
